Allied Materials acquired America's oldest jigsaw puzzle company from Hallmark in 2001. Springbok Puzzles has been a fixture of the American family for over 50 years. Hallmark acquired the brand in the late 1960s. Allied acquired the puzzle company, its distribution network, and its proprietary manufacturing facilities. These actions saved this beloved puzzle brand to the celebration of thousands of die-hard puzzle fans everywhere.
Allied Materials re-tooled and modernized the Springbok manufacturing process, preserving Springbok Puzzles as America's favorite puzzle. During Allied's management of Springbok Puzzles, the line has expanded into a variety of items, serving our nation’s most valuable retailer: the small, brick-and-mortar business owner. It is our privilege to support these retailers with a product made in America that supports America's small businesses.
